VINYASA/FLOW
In Vinyasa or Flow yoga, postures are strung together by the breath in continuous flowing movement. One posture follows another in a specific sequence harmonizing body, breath, mind and movement. The perpetual movement of the Vinyasa practice builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength, stamina and mental focus.
EASY FLOW
This is a beginner class that is ideal for those seeking to integrate flow into their practice. Comprised of breath work, warm-up exercises and a sequence of postures designed for Easy Flow, this class is suitable for those who have some basic yoga experiences.
MINDFUL FLOW
The emphasis of Mindful Flow is on a moment-to-moment awareness of form and breath. As John Kabat-Zinn says, “in mindful yoga, exquisite attention is paid to (the) body and body sensations.” Being mindful in our practice, it becomes a moving meditation guided by the breath. We are able to tap into, deepen, and integrate our inner and outer experiences. The result is enhanced focus, flexibility, stamina, strength, awareness, and acceptance – both on and off the mat.
